Tomato 'La Roma' is the most well-known paste-type tomato, used for making sauces, paste, tomato juice, ketchup, or for eating fresh. One of the very best Italian-type tomatoes known for its outstanding vigor and uniformity has become even better. Big yields of 5–8 oz. fruit are produced on large, vigorous plants with excellent disease resistance. Expect larger fruit and healthier plants than with the standard Roma. Tomatoes are flavorful and have very few seeds, making La Roma a heavy producer perfect for sauce-making.

Growing Tips
Tomato 'La Roma' thrives in full sun with warm temperatures and well-drained, fertile soil. Provide support with cages—vines grow 3–4 feet tall. Space plants 24–36 inches apart. Water consistently and deeply, avoiding overhead watering. Mulch to retain moisture and prevent soil-borne diseases. Tomatoes mature in 75 days.
