'Nanus' is a medium growing, rounded evergreen broadleaf groundcover that reaches 10 to 12 inches in height, making it perfect for low-maintenance landscapes. This hardy plant thrives in partial shade and tolerates temperatures down to about -5 degrees F, providing reliable year-round coverage. Light lilac flowers appear in summer, followed by attractive metallic blue fruit that adds unique seasonal interest. The grass-like foliage forms neat clumping mounds that create excellent texture and structure in the landscape. As an attractive filler, Dwarf Mondo Grass works beautifully in borders, between stepping stones, as groundcover under trees and shrubs, or in mass plantings where a low, evergreen carpet is desired.
