'Cosmopolitan' is a hardy Maiden Grass with gracefully arching variegated foliage. The 1.5" wide leaf blades are medium to dark green with a strong creamy white border. The foliage is flexible and blows easily in the wind. In late summer abundant wands of copper-pink flowers gradually turning into silvery white fluffy plumes that persist through the winter tower above the foliage atop sturdy stalks. The plumes are great for cutting and use in dried flower arrangements. The foliage turns a rich gold in the fall becoming lighter in color through the winter. Forming a stately arching clump that lights up the landscape, Cosmopolitan is ideal as an accent or specimen, in groupings, or as a screen. Grows 6-8' tall 3-4' wide
